Attritor Mill TurboGrinder – Grinding, Disagglomeration, and Drying
Efficient dry grinding for soft to moderately hard materials—continuous and versatile in a single process.
The TurboGrinder from Eirich Impianti is laid out for continuous dry grinding and disagglomeration. Thanks to the combination of impact and friction, it is particularly well-suited for soft to medium-hard materials as well as for products that tend to stick or lump. An integrated air classifier supports the precise setting of the desired product fineness.

TurboGrinder
Efficient preparation in a continuous process
The TurboGrinder is an attritor mill for continuous dry grinding. The material is crushed and deagglomerated through a combined impact and abrasion effect. An integrated air classifier separates the sufficiently fine product from the grinding process.
A particular strength of the system lies in the processing of materials that tend to build up with cakings or lump. If necessary, grinding and drying can take place simultaneously. According to Eirich Impianti, materials with a feed moisture content of up to 25% can be processed.
This makes the TurboGrinder particularly suitable for processes in which multiple processing steps need to be efficiently combined.
More Than Just Grinding
Grinding & Disagglomeration
The combined impact and friction effects enable both size reduction and dissolving of agglomerates.
Combining Grinding and Drying
If necessary, size reduction and drying can be performed simultaneously in a single process step.
For moist materials
According to the manufacturer, the TurboGrinder can handle feed materials with a moisture content of up to 25%.
Integrated air classifier
The classifying process is directly integrated into the machine design and provides support for the targeted separation of the ground material.
Even with challenging material behavior
The system is particularly well-suited for materials that tend to stick or lump during processing.
Service-friendly
Wear parts are laid out so that they can be easily replaced.
For Demanding Materials and Preparation Processes
EIRICH positions its Attritor mills and the TurboGrinder within a broad portfolio of grinding technologies for industrial minerals, ores, ceramic raw materials, glass, and fertilizers. The TurboGrinder itself is specifically designed for the disagglomeration and drying of soft to moderately hard materials.
